Wedding Necklace

 A year ago, after a friend’s wedding, we came up with the idea of making necklaces or bracelets based on the pictures of the wedding invitation. We take the picture of the invitation and we create a beautiful silver piece, which is perfect as a gift for the bride and the groom because it will always remind them that special day. But this is not only a good gift for the couple that gets married, in this occasion I want to show you the necklace that my sister gave to her mother in law on her wedding day based on her wedding invitation. I made the weeding invitation as well ;)

Hace ya un año que a partir de la boda de unos amigos, se nos ocurrió hacer pulseras o colgantes basados en los dibujos o ilustraciones de las invitaciones de boda. Cogemos una imagen de la invitación y con ella creamos una bonita pieza en plata, perfecta para regalar a los novios porque está basada en algo tan personal como su propia invitación de boda y podrán llevarla siempre. Pero no solo a los novios les encantan estas cosas, en esta ocasión quiero enseñaros el collar que mi hermana encargo para su suegra basado en su propia invitación. Hand of the Queen brooch

We’ve been thinking for a while in which will be the perfect unisex Geek accessory and it was difficult to find something original beside rings or necklaces, but a few weeks ago, while we were watching the season finale of Game of Thrones..well, I don’t want to make any spoiler, so I’ll just say that we finally had a great idea, a brooch! Hace tiempo que veníamos pensando hacer un accesorio geek unisex, pero aparte de anillos y collares no acabábamos de dar con la idea perfecta hasta hace un par de semanas. Estábamos viendo el último episodio de Juego de tronos y, no quiero hacer spoilers, pero se nos encendió la lucecita…hacer un broche! El complemento perfecto tanto para hombre como para mujer ya que puede usarse de mil formas diferentes.

Children’s Artwork: Little Girl

Lately we don’t stop with the children’s artwork orders and each tile we’re happier with the results.
Today I want to show you one of the last necklace we’ve made, based on the design of a very talented little artist we’ve made this elegant, simple and delicate necklace.

The piece is made in Silver and I’m sure that there is a mother out there showing it off with proud!

Últimamente no paramos con los diseños infantiles y cada vez estamos más contentos con los resultados. 

Hoy os enseño uno de los últimos collares que hemos hecho, partiendo del dibujo de una pequeña gran artista creamos esta pequeño, elegante y delicado colgante.
La pieza entera está hecha en plata y estoy segura de que ahora mismo hay una madre luciéndolo con orgullo!

Engagement Ring. Aquamarine

Since we’ve started with the store, we’ve made several engagement rings, even ours! But the one I want to show you this week is really special because is the one we’ve made for my sister, that is getting married in a couple of weeks.
The ring is made of silver and it has a beautiful Aquamarine, which is my favourite gemstone because its white colour with that blue sparkle.
Is a very simple but elegant ring.

Desde que empezamos con la tienda hemos hecho varios anillos de compromisos y alianzas, incluso las nuestras! pero la que os quiero enseñar  esta semana es realmente especial porque es la que le hemos hecho a mi hermana, que se casa en un par de semanas. 

El anillo esta hecho en plata con una preciosa aguamarina, que es mi piedra favorita por su color blanco con ese pequeño destello azul. 

Es un anillo muy sencillo pero muy elegante.

Children’s artwork: Little Birds

This week I want to show you one of the necklaces that we’ve done based on a children’s design. This one has in particular that it wasn’t based on a design but in cute craftsmanship, 3 little birds made in cotton surrounded by stars. The stars are made in golden brass and the little birds have a silver plate, this way is easier to distinguish.Is a very original necklace that I’m sure everyone will love.

Esta semana quiero enseñaros otro de los collares que hemos hecho basándonos en un diseño infantil. Este tiene de particular que no fue basado en un dibujo sino en una pequeña manualidad, unos pajaritos hechos de algodón con un fondo de estrellas.
Justo en estos dos elementos nos inspiramos para hacer el collar. Las estrellas están hechas en bronce dorado y a los pajaritos les dimos un bañado en plata.
Es un collar súper original que estoy segura que encantara a todo el mundo.

Coat of Arms

A few weeks ago we received a very personal order from Miguel’s father. He wanted to offer as a gift the family Coat of Arms to his brothers, so we started working on it! The original coat of arms included many more elements, but finally we decided to just keep the rams, symbol the House Santin.
Once the design was done, we start thinking what we were going to do with it, and we decided to turn it into an elegant Key-Chain because is very practical and you can use it every day.
If you’re looking for an original gift for all your family, this is a very good idea. There is nothing more personal than a Coat of Arms.
The Key-Chain is made in golden Brass and it has a black leather cord.

Hace poco recibimos un pedido muy especial del padre de Miguel, quería regalar el escudo de la familia Santin a sus hermanos, así que nos pusimos manos a la obra! El escudo original contenía muchos más símbolos, pero finalmente lo sintetizamos un poco y dejamos los más importantes, los tres carneros símbolo de la casa de los Santines. Una vez tuvimos el diseño solo quedaba pensar que hacíamos con él y finalmente nos decidimos por un elegante llavero, ya que es muy práctico y puedes lucirlo todos los días.

Si estáis buscando un regalo original para toda la familia esta es una buena idea. No hay nada más personal que un escudo heráldico.

El llaver esta hecho en laton dorado y tiene un cordel de cuero negro.

Rock Jewelry

Everyone that knows me they know how much I like rock and heavy metal! Since I had started this adventure I’d tried to find inspiration in the music that I love, which is very easy because every time I’m in the atelier I’m listening to metal.

Is complicated to be over 30 and still wearing the same rings you wear in your twenties, that’s the reason why I’d created the little skulls, the bone rings, etc...even collar plates for my cats!
Those are pieces chic and rock at the same time!

Todos los que me conocéis sabéis lo mucho que me gusta el heavy y el rock. Desde que empecé esta aventura he intentado que mis gustos musicales inspirasen las piezas que creamos en San San Atelier, lo cual no era muy difícil ya que siempre que estoy en el taller solo se escucha heavy de fondo.

Es muy difícil pasar de los 30 y seguir llevando los mismos anillos que llevabas a los 20, por eso cree las calaveritas, los huesitos de rodio, etc... incluso collares para gatos! Piezas elegantes pero rockeras a la vez!
